About International Networking Week:
International Networking Week™, occurring
February 4-8, 2008, is an
initiative of BNI®, the largest business networking
organization in the world. The purpose of International
Networking Week™ is to raise the profile of networking
in the wider community, recognizing it as an essential
tool for success in today’s business climate.
The goal of
International Networking Week™ is to recognize and
celebrate the key role that networking plays in the
development and success of businesses in every part of
the world. The designated week will feature a number of
networking events across the globe, the focus of which
will be to bring together representatives of government,
businesses and the community to network with each other,
in order to understand the concept of good networking
and to listen to talks given by key networking
specialists from various parts of the world. These
speakers will offer advice and information on how
businesses can grow and succeed through good networking
practices.
International
Networking Week™ is a prime opportunity to network with
other business people and learn about the way contact
networks benefit businesses of all sizes; and it is open
to all business professionals, tradespeople, students,
press representatives, government and council
representatives – in fact, anyone who values business
networking or would like to know more about business
networking.
